Look at their arrogance, and send your wrath upon their heads. Give my hand, the hand of a widow, the strength to do what I have planned.
So may it be with these also, O Lord, who trust in their multitude, and in their chariots, and in their pikes, and in their shields, and in their arrows, and glory in their spears,
Look how proud and boastful they are! Pour out your fury upon them! I am only a widow, but give me the strength to carry out my plan.
See their pride, and send forth your fury upon their heads. Give me, a widow, a strong hand to execute my plan.
